As you may or may not know, I've been working on my next album Love Is Not A Fight. It's been a long process. Earlier this year I finally started working with a live band in the studio. To make a long story short... We did six songs and I ran out of money and time. Mostly I ran out of time! I was trying to get it done before my son Diego was born. He's been here for two months now and I've been busy with fatherhood(I'm not complaining at all). So, the new album is tentatively on hold. However, I am still writing and recording demos at home. Of course my productivity could never come to a complete halt. In the time I started production on my new record and started raising my son, I managed to Executive Produce a compilation! It's called, "Juan Lennon Presents: 213 Cumbia Volume 1". It's a great cd compiled of various LA based "Cumbia" artists. I've got bands, DJ's and producers. The album is out in Japan and will be released in the US on tuesday October 11th. I'm putting it out on my own label Triumphant Records LLC! Big shout out to my distributors...
